What we collect
Flowstate collects the following data when you use the service:
- Account data — email address, name, and OAuth tokens via Clerk. Used to authenticate you and identify your workspace.
- Task and issue data — tasks, issues, backlog items, objectives, and cycle data you create in Flowstate. Stored in Convex and associated with your account.
- Email address (mailing list) — if you submit the lead magnet form, your email is stored in Loops for transactional and product emails. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Usage analytics — page views and feature interaction events via PostHog. Used to understand how the product is used. No personally identifiable information is sent beyond a pseudonymous user ID.
How we use your data
- To provide and operate the Flowstate service
- To send you transactional emails (account confirmation, product updates you opted into)
- To understand how the product is being used and improve it
- We do not sell your data to third parties
- We do not share your task data with any third party except the infrastructure providers listed below
Third-party services
Flowstate uses the following third-party services to operate:
- Clerk — authentication and user management (clerk.com)
- Convex — real-time database and backend functions (convex.dev)
- Vercel — hosting and deployment (vercel.com)
- Loops — transactional email (loops.so)
- PostHog — product analytics (posthog.com)
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing the data they process on our behalf.
Data retention and deletion
Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing privacy@devrituals.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
